Breonna Taylor Street Art Gallery

Who is Breonna Taylor?

Breonna Taylor was a 26-year-old Black woman killed in her own bed by  by Louisville Police on March 13, 2020, who shot through the door while they were serving a reckless “no knock” warrant at her apartment. After Breonna Taylor’s boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, fired a shot from his licensed gun believing the police to be an intruder, the officers blindly discharged 32 rounds, killing Breonna Taylor in the process. Breonna Taylor’s death has and continues to inspire protests against police violence and requesting the officers be criminally charged and held accountable. Her name and image are memorialized in racial justice street art across the world.

We hope this gallery of street art and murals dedicated to the memory of Breonna Taylor helps spread a message of positive change.
